Your UnitedHealthcare UCard® is your TRS-Care Medicare Advantage member ID card — and much more. It opens doors to all your plan has to offer and combines many benefits and rewards programs into one simple experience.
How to Activate the Card
There are three easy ways to activate your UnitedHealthcare UCard. Choose the one that works for you:

Using your smartphone or tablet, scan the QR code on the letter attached to your UCard to activate through the UnitedHealthcare app.

Visit activate.uhc.com.

Call 1-866-757-1864, TTY 711.
What Can You Do With a UCard?
Earn rewards for completing simple, health related activities that support preventive care and help you get more value from your plan. The program is designed to support you throughout your health journey by encouraging actions that matter most — like scheduling your annual physical or wellness visit, completing recommended health screenings or staying active. Each healthy choice adds up, and the more eligible activities you complete and report, the more rewards you can earn. Spend your earned rewards on eligible items like gifts, clothing, groceries and more. Rewards will be loaded to your UCard. Earned rewards can be used in store or online at many retailers nationwide for eligible items like groceries, clothing, gifts, and more. Reward dollars don’t expire, giving you flexibility to spend them when it works best for you.
Buy approved over-the-counter (OTC) products with your benefit credit. With this benefit, you get a $40 credit each quarter added to your UCard ($160 a year) to buy covered OTC products from network retail locations or through the website. Credit is added on the first day of each quarter (in January, April, July and October) and expires at the end of the year. You can also find participating stores or check your balance by calling 1-833-818-8694, TTY 711, or visit healthybenefitsplus.com/ TRSCareMA, or downloading the Healthy Benefits+ app.
Your TRS-Care Medicare Advantage UCard is so much more than just your ID card.
Your UCard has a magnetic stripe. Swipe your UCard when it’s time to check out with your OTC purchases or rewards, just like you would with any other credit or debit card.
