Managing your TRS-Care health coverage just got easier. TRS is expanding its online experience in MyTRS, giving you more ways to enroll in, manage and update your TRS-Care coverage—all in one secure place.

Starting June 22, 2026, you can complete many common TRS-Care enrollment and coverage tasks online. There’s no need to print and mail certain forms anymore, which means less waiting and faster processing! However, paper forms are still available for those who prefer them.

What You Can Do in MyTRS for TRS-Care

Starting June 22, 2026, you can use MyTRS for TRS-Care to:

  • Enroll in TRS-Care health coverage
  • Add or remove eligible dependents
  • Submit Medicare Beneficiary Identifier when you become Medicare eligible
  • Terminate coverage for yourself or a dependent, when needed
  • Send secure messages directly to TRS Health counselors

Visit the Register for MyTRS page to learn how to get started and see everything the portal can do for you (hint: it's a lot, including seeing your last 24 months of annuity payments!).
